U of O student working on a thesis for AS/HFA and is looking for families to participate.

My name is Wanda Dixon, I am a senior at the University of Oregon pursuing a BA in Psychology. I am currently working on an Honor’s Thesis that involves a study of individuals with High Functioning Autism (HFA) and individuals with Asperger’s Syndrome (AS).  The reason I am writing you is I was wondering if you would be able to help me in this endeavor by contacting parents in your area to see if they would willing to participate in this study.  I need to have several individuals from both groups in order for my study to be valid.

The study will be conducted by way of a questionnaire regarding how adolescents identified as HFA and those with AS, respond to and comply with rules and laws.  I need to locate parents or teachers of members of these two populations to participate in my study.  The questionnaire is completely anonymous with the only demographics being: age, designation of HFA or AS, and the gender of their adolescent.
